What is marriage guidance?
Before you walk down the aisle, consider meeting with someone who can help you think about issues you may face when you are married. During a marriage guidance session, you'll learn about the aspects of your personalities that both enrich and challenge your thoughts about expectations for your married relationship with your spouse-to-be. From sex to communication, finances and parenting, there might be future problems in your married life that you haven't even considered. Why not take the time to address these issues now so that you'll have a smoother and more enjoyable road ahead?
How much does pre-marital guidance cost?
$975 for the initial assessment and both guidance sessions. Follow-up sessions are $250 per hour, and can be purchased in packages at a reduced rate.
What is expected?
You and your spouse-to-be will each take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, which will profile challenges and issues that are unique to your relationship. The results will lead your time and discussion during your guidance session, and will reveal your strong points and where you can improve as a couple. Your guide will meet with you for two sessions for an hour and a half per session. Follow-up sessions are also available after your wedding. The time involved is minimal compared to the lifetime investment you will make for your marriage.
