Wedding Ceremonies In and Around Columbus, Ohio by Rebecca Williams Zelanin, Officiant
Thomas Zelanin
Hello! I am Tom Zelanin, Rebecca's husband.
I had watched Rebecca perform hundreds of ceremonies as an observer before I performed my first ceremony. I was an emergency, last minute substitution in a ceremony that did not actually need a Licensed Minster. I had a lot of reservations about stepping in, but I found that, indeed I had learned a lot through years of "observation". The words and directions actually came far easier than I ever imagined and the experience changed me. It is indeed a privilege to be a part of a couple's most exciting and happy day and I would welcome the opportunity to meet you and work with you. My favorite part of the process is helping you have the ceremony you didn’t know you wanted. Set up a meeting so I can explain how easily that can happen.
In the interest of full disclosure, Rebecca Zelanin is my mother. She definitely influenced my desire to start performing weddings. Although I am new at the profession, my background in serving the public in small family businesses makes me at ease with all people. As a fourth year student at Ohio State in Landscape Architecture, I have expanded my presentations skills and confidence in meeting the public. My goal is to give you a great ceremony – a ceremony that sets the tone for your day and your celebration, but probably more importantly, your life together.
It is a priviledge to share your day. I hope to hear from you.
